HDMI port damage and no video signal
The PS5 Pro uses the same rear-panel HDMI port design as the PS5 Slim, with the same susceptibility to pin damage and connector fracture from cable leverage, cable weight, or the cable being pulled at an angle during normal use. No video signal, intermittent dropouts, and display corruption that changes with cable position are the typical presentations. As on the standard PS5, failure of the HDMI encoder chip on the motherboard is a secondary fault point that produces no signal even through an undamaged port. Both are assessed as part of any PS5 Pro no-display diagnosis.
